Robin Chambers & Jeremy Oxenford -Wedding/Reception at Walnut Creek Wedding Chapel on 5/14/2011

A Bride Review of Walnut Creek Wedding Chapel -

Thanks so much for being our site! We had a ton on fun, the pictures came back looking beautiful, and your staff did a great, great job with the flow and setting everything up. I really like the DJ, too. And Sheridan faxing me a second copy of the marriage license when I had lost the first was a lifesaver, so thank her for me. I know I couldn't have gotten that level of care from a banquet hall or hotel!!!!

KNOT CeremonyIn ancient times, handfastin was used to signify the union between a man and a woman. That's where we get the expression "Tying the Knot". Today, Jeremy and Robin participated in their own version of this classic practice. Both Mothers brought the cords to the ceremony. Dr. Gene Nease - Minister stated -Bride and Groom, these two distinct cords represent your lives before this day: Individual, unique and special. They were woven out of the wisdom, strength and love of your family and friends who have helped shape you into the individuals standing before us today. As you each take your cord and join it with the other, let this symbolize the joining of your two lives as one. That you may each retain the individuality that makes you unique, but recognize the strength created by joining together an impenetrable knot. Jeremy tied his know Robin follows through with her cord. On cue, the couple held the rope to show their Knot.

As these two cords are united as one, so are you -with lives intertwined and a strength that can only come from holding close to one another.
The Couple wrote their Wedding Vows.
I, Jeremy, take you, Robin to be my friend, my lover, and my beautiful wife. I will be your in times of plenty and in times of want, in times of sicness and in times of health. I will be there for you in times of joy and in times of sorrow, in times of failure and in times of triumph, and even in the ocassional times of crazy. I promise to love and respect you, to honor and protect you, to comfort and encourage you, and to stay by your side, for all eternity.

I, Robin take you, Jeremy, to be my husband. I will be your constant friend and your faithful partner, and you will be my love from this day forward. In the presence of our family and friends, I give my solemn vow to be with you in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you as stubbornly as you sometimes argue with me, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live.
